California State Fair Parade of Cities to Feature Colfax The City of Colfax will be the honored city at the California State Fair on Sunday, August 31 ( the only city for that day) in the Parade of Cities. Lineup for the parade is at 6 pm and the parade runs from 6:30 to 7 pm. We are looking for floats, antique or custom cars and trucks, clowns anything that would be suitable for a parade and which represents our local businesses and events. Examples would be to promote our Car Shows, Rollins Lake, Railroad Days, Spring GREEN Festival, local recreation, Colfax Cheerleaders, Colfax queens, Boy Scouts, and musical groups riding on a truck. Complimentary day and parking passes are available for participants. Contact Connie Heilaman at: codecors@foothill.net 530-346-8250 or 530-273-8886 or Dori Barret at dori_barret@yahoo.com 346-2232. Help us promote Colfax and encourage visitor dollars in the Colfax area. |
