Chamber of Commerce Committees

Committees power the CACC and enable the organization to service the business community effectively without employing an executive director. In a small community this involvement is essential.
These committees provide an opportunity for each individual to have a great impact on the overall success of both local and tourism commerce. Committee members are drawn, with exceptions noted, from the general CACC membership.
Each of the 12 board members must serve on at least one committee. Each committee reports monthly to the CACC Board of Directors either by written or oral report. Committees work within the budget approved by the Board on an annual basis. New committees may be formed as needed and current committees made inactive as goals are accomplished.
Ad Hoc Sign Committee Formed specifically to address the issue of inadequate signage in and around Colfax, this committee welcomes all regardless of CACC membership status. The committee analyzes existing Colfax signage, drafts specific recommendations, works with the City of Colfax for permits and funding and oversees the construction and installation of the resulting signage.
